Dr. Eric Russell
Board certified in rheumatology
Dr. Russell graduated magna cum laude from Coastal Carolina University. He completed medical school at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2007 He then finished internal medicine training as a resident at Lankenau Hospital in Wynnewood, PA He went on to complete a rheumatology fellowship at Drexel University College of Medicine where he served as Chief Fellow.

Prior to working at Brandywine Rheumatology, Dr. Russell worked at Christiana Care health system since 2012. While there, he managed all levels of rheumatologic disease complexity both in the inpatient and outpatient setting. At Christiana Care he served in leadership roles as Associate Physician for the Musculoskeletal Service Line and also Clinical Lead for the Department of Rheumatology. He has served on several committees including the Christiana Care Bone Health Advisory Committee.

Dr. Russell has participated in medical student, family medicine resident, internal medicine resident and sports medicine fellow education. At the state and local level, he has lectured on topics including rheumatoid arthritis management, ANCA associated vasculitis, Sjogrens disease, ocular manifestation of rheumatic disease, and osteoarthritis. He has published peer reviewed articles on sarcoidosis management and diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound.

In his spare time Dr. Russell enjoys gardening, woodworking and travel. He lives in southeastern PA with his wife, young son and daughter
Victoria Cooper, NP
Certified Nurse Practitioner
Victoria Cooper joined Brandywine Rheumatology in 2022. She received her bachelor of arts and sciences in biology and her bachelor of science in nursing from Rutgers University, NJ. She received her advanced master of sciences in nursing from Rowan University, NJ. She brings valuable experience in the care of serious illness from her previous roles in home care and palliative medicine. She provides expertise in complicated conversations which include trajectory of illness, treatment options, coordination of care in context of advanced illness, discussion of holistic needs, and support of patients and families. She also has experience in the surgical care unit. She enjoys being outdoors, hiking and exploring what nature has to offer.
Victoria provides a valuable role at Brandywine Rheumatology triaging patient's acute rheumatology needs, advancing care plans, and coordinating medication management.
